A series of concerts now essential in Barcelona! Every Sunday this August there is nothing better to end the weekend than an afternoon with live rumba in Poble! You will listen to and dance to all the songs live from the top rumba groups in Barcelona. But Fritanga! It is more than that... A complete experience in a space in an impressive natural environment where both children and adults can enjoy Sunday afternoons in August. Rumba, party, tinto de Verano, mojitos and typical Spanish tapas (including fritanga!), all in one!
At the end of the 70s, a musician of Argentine origin, Xavier Patricio Pérez, better known as Gato Pérez, influenced the history of Catalan rumba with his own way of conceiving it, straddling Latin music and gypsy rumba. In this Rumba Set the musicians Dani Txarnego and Quino Béjar will perform in a tribute to their legacy and will animate, more than ever, the Village of Live Nights!
