A HISTORIC AND UNIQUE PLACE IN BARCELONA
WHERE HISTORY MEETS CULTURE AND LEISURE
Built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition to showcase Spanish vernacular architecture and culture, Poble Espanyol is an iconic Barcelona landmark where history meets culture and leisure.
¿What will you see in Poble Espanyol?
Wandering through Poble Espanyol, you'll discover everything from a typical Andalusian neighborhood to a Catalan Romanesque monastery, not forgetting the traditional architecture of Galicia. Streets, squares, and over 100 life-size replicas of buildings make up this unique village located in the heart of Barcelona.
Poble Espanyol is a true landmark in Barcelona, comprising 117 buildings that replicate structures from virtually every region of Spain. All architectural styles are represented, from Romanesque to Baroque.

Nowhere else will you discover craftsmanship like in Poble Espanyol. You can watch artisans from different generations at work and, if you wish, participate in workshops to experience the fascinating world of craftsmanship firsthand.
Poble Espanyol is a Craft Hub where you can see different artisans working live every day. Professionals from various disciplines and generations demonstrate the value of handcrafted work and offer the opportunity to participate in short workshops, personalized workshops, and courses.

Discover the Fran Daurel Foundation. Located within the complex since 2001, it is a valuable collection of contemporary art in Barcelona that includes works by universal artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies and Eduardo Chillida.
